I Can Feel It Coming…
Something is brewing in the earth today.
Something magnificent and glorious.
Something awesome and terrifying.
Something bigger than we've ever read or heard about before.
Something that is worldwide.
The Middle East is raging as I type these words, and I am not talking about the demonic stronghold of Islam or the ungodly oppression of women. I am speaking of the powerful and unprecedented moving of the Holy Spirit. Signs and wonders are sweeping across this land as multiplied thousands (daily) are rejecting a dead religion and false prophet, passionately repenting and turning to the resurrected King of King and Lord of Lords...Jesus Christ.
Asia continues to demonstrate in reality what many of us in the Western World merely theorize about, as the sick are healed, the dead are raised, and well over 50,000 are born again daily.
An exciting aspect of both the Middle East and Asia, is how many women are being used by God. I've even heard stories of teenage girls who have over 100,000 people under their ministry. I LOVE IT!
What about the United States?
The last tremendous move of God that took place here was The Jesus Movement, which began in the late 60’s and eventually fizzled out in the 80's. Since that time there have been pockets of revival in various places, but nothing that even comes close to being comparable to what took place in The Jesus Movement. We are long overdue for another hell-shaking move of God.
In my prayer times I find myself seeing the same things over and over concerning my country that I love, and as I was taking a walk late last night, I could not help but feel that there is something coming…and coming very soon.
What I See Coming (and here already):
A growing restlessness among the body of Christ. Many sleeping saints are beginning to awaken with a passionate heart cry that is deeply longing for...MORE. Why? Because there is a Jesus DNA on the inside of them that will never be satisfied with a cute and cuddly form of Christianity. The Church was birthed in the power and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and a blueprint that literally turned the world upside down. Today it seems the world has turned the Church upside down. But not for long. There will be a rejection of the secular for the sacred as the body of Christ recovers her identity, and many pastors and ministry leaders will abandon the chaos of performance and return to their First Love, finding refreshing and renewal in the arms of Jesus. As they do, their local assemblies will begin to experience tidal waves of revival, healing, freedom, and fresh vision.
A tremendous shaking among our teenagers and millennials. There will be a mass exodus that will be shocking, confusing, and downright heartbreaking. But…it is not going to be the end of the story. A remnant of young people will rise up from among their very own peers with Holy Ghost fire in their eyes and a fierce boldness. These young people who have been mocked incessantly because of their strong addictions to social media, gifs, memes, self, vaping, and sexual indulgences, will have earth shattering Damascus experiences that rival what has been happening in places like India for years. They will arrive on the scene as if out of nowhere and their voices will be like thunder. These youth will be pioneers, blazing new trails of Apostolic and Prophetic ministry. Insecure leaders will become increasingly uncomfortable and attempt to silence them, but they will not succeed. Wise and seasoned men and women will love them, providing guidance and encouragement, but will never control them. This wild army will not relent until their lost brothers and sisters have returned…and the enemy suffers severe payback.
Rising pressure, persecution, and a NASTY prayer movement. Let me sum up this point by asking you to open your Bible and read Acts 4:1-31.
These are great days to be alive! God is not going to forget the United States! If you are reading this and you are from another country, know that He has not forgotten you either! When it comes to the Church, our best days are ahead!
